I grabbed strawberries, Greek yogurt, and splenda and put it all into my blender but than added another ingredient....
Strawberries and a Banana sounded like a winning combination.
So I threw them all into the blender
and.......
I had really high hopes of this being delicious but it was okay. I think my downfall was the fact that the greek yogurt was honey flavored and that didn't go with my strawberries and bananas idea. I look forward to trying it again with a different yogurt but definitely a Greek yogurt because those are so filling! Its been a few hours since I had this and I am still not hungry.
What do you guys eat for breakfast?
Sound pretty good...I'd try a plain vanilla or maybe a strawberry yogurt instead. I usually just have 2 packets of Quaker Raisins and Spice Oatmeal and a banana. It's a very filling breakfast. Hasn't gotten old yet but I've just started.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite breakfast that holds me over all the way to lunch is: 1/2 cup oatmeal (once cooked, it's probably a cup), after I pull it out of the microwave and quickly add a cup of frozen berries (usually a mixture of raspberries, blueberries, marionberries), then I add a handful of almonds, and finally a bit of milk (maybe a 1/4 cup).
ReplyDeleteHow do you guys cook your oatmeal? I recently read the the packets of oatmeal are not as good as the big box of oats. Any thoughts? I want to eat more oatmeal. Oats are a superfood!
ReplyDeleteDiane your breakfast sounds AMAZING.
